The SPEED STAR DX diamond core bit is designed for wet and dry core drilling in heavily reinforced concrete as well as natural and artificial stone, with hole diameters ranging from 10–132 mm.Typical applications: Heating, plumbing and electrical installations, renovation of old buildings, tiling, stair and railing installation, refrigeration and air-conditioning technology, gardening and landscaping.
- PRISMACUT: Four pilot-drilling lenses on the diamond segment improve starting performance while also ensuring optimum water cooling.
- PRISMACUT guarantees direct water cooling of the diamond segments.
- Exact concentricity reduces wear.
- Very aggressive cutting performance for safe starting in handheld operation.
- Compatible with all other ROTHENBERGER drive machines.
- Standard lengths: 400 / 430 mm; special lengths up to 1,000 mm available on request.
- Commercially available G 1/2″ and 1 1/4″ UNC thread connections.
- The excellent segment positioning provides an optimum balance of clearance and outstanding cutting speed.
- Up to 15% higher cutting speed in reinforced steel.

The SPEED STAR DX diamond core bit, with a G 1/2-inch thread connection, is suitable for both wet and dry drilling. With a maximum usable length of 400 mm, the diamond core bit can produce holes with diameters ranging from 10 to 132 mm. Dry drilling creates less mess and enables more efficient work, even in locations without access to a water supply. The re-tipped core bit reduces wear and delivers excellent cutting performance. The PRISMACUT pilot-drilling lenses provide improved starting performance and help protect the diamond segment.
